Stone Age to Iron Age

Class 3, have already got off to such a fantastic start with their learning this term and been quite the historians, as they successfully took on the challenge of becoming prehistorian archaeologists!  With both care and precision, they carefully crafted and waded their way through layers of sand to see what treasures lay beneath.  They found jadeite axe heads, saddle querns, Folkton drums, flint rocks and cutting tools, to name but a few! Then, being quite the archaeologists, they took the time to studying their findings and artefacts in great detail, trying and work out what they could possibly be.  One thing is for certain, everything was made out of natural materials, mainly rocks and stones.  So we deduced that they most probably came from the Stone Age.
