This term's D.T. lessons have been cross-curricular as they tie in beautifully with our learning about light in Science.  As we make discoveries about the concept of light and its attributes, including observing how it can be reflected off different materials and be used to create shadows, we will put all our new knowledge to good use by creating our very own shadow puppet theatres.  First we will need to design and create the theatres themselves before moving on to making the more intrinsic puppets.  These are still very much in the making so watch this space... Once play scripts have been drafted and practised I am sure they will put on quite the performance!
