Book Week!

This week, in celebration of all things reading, Class 3 have been trying a spot of 'Drop Everything and Read'!  When they hear the bell, that is exactly what they have been doing.  I wonder in how many unusual places you have managed to find us? I hope they have their reading books close at hand? Miss Sweeney wouldn't dare ring it during our breaktimes, would she?

On World Book Day itself, there was much flurry of excitement as the children donned their best hats, cloaks, masks and not to mention, beards and glasses, with the odd wand and walking stick thrown in too!  They took to parading their wonderfully creative attire for all to see, before retreating back into the classroom where they took to the task of creating their own literary islands and worlds.  Hagrid (sometimes known as Madame Holdak) did a wonderful job in guiding them to make these spectacularly imaginative illustrations.
