This week we have been learning about haiku. Haiku are a type of poem with a very specific syllabic structure. We started by reading lots of haiku and picking out the features. Then we had a go at writing haiku in groups, composing lines and putting them together to make a poem. Finally, we had a go at writing our own series of haiku on a theme.
