Welcome to Chevening's Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA)!

At Chevening we very fortunate to have a talented, energetic and dedicated group of parents, underpinning a very active PTFA.
Our main functions are two-fold; to fundraise and organise a variety of activities and events for both Chevening children and parents/carers.

In recent years, the dedicated PTFA has raised approx. £20k per year. Alongside our most established events (the Christmas Fair, the Summer Fair/Mini-Fest - mini family-friendly music festival, the annual Spring Ball and our ‘Swimathon') we have introduced some newer and fun events/activities for all - the Back to School Afternoon Fair, pre-Christmas social and our own Colour-Run. Over the years, our events have been held on the school field, the school swimming pool and also at the prestigious Chevening House.

Events for Chevening children include ‘Movie Night’, school discos, Book Fairs, Story Book Bus visits and Easter Fun Day.
We hosted Happy’s Circus as our main Summer Event one year and were pleased that all 600 tickets sold out extremely quickly and the event proved to be a resounding success within the whole community, raising £3,000 profit. 

Each year the PTFA are committed to subsidising Christmas activities and the summer swimming lessons held in our newly refurbished pool, helping with the minibus expenses (which the PTFA helped to purchase) and providing resources for Book Week and other curriculum-focus weeks.

All parents, guardians and staff are automatically members of Chevening's PTFA; we are always looking for new members to join our organising committee. Being active on the PTFA is a great way of meeting other parents in various year groups and to get involved in school life.

If you don’t want to join the committee but have time to volunteer for any of the events we put on, or you have any skills that we could benefit from, we really would love to hear from you!
Please join our PTA meetings which are held each half term - often via Zoom - everyone is welcome. Our PTFA AGM is held in the Autumn Term.
