Welcome to Class 4

Here you can find out all about our learning that we have been doing. Please use the tabs to the right to find out about our work in different subjects as well as our special events. 

Our Class Teacher is Mrs Edwards

Our Teaching Assistants are Mrs Rudge and Mrs Day.

Mrs Holdak teaches our class on a Tuesday afternoon.

PE

Our PE days are Tuesday and Friday.

We need to have a jumper in case it is cold or wet. If it is really cold then we can wear tracksuit bottoms. 

Homework

Our homework is given out on a Friday and will be due in on the following Wednesday. We are expected to spend an hour and a half on our homework (in total) each week. 

Maths - please complete one section of the Schofield and Sims tests. We also use Times Tables Rockstars.

Spelling - we collect spelling errors in our marking throughout the week and record these in our spelling journals. These are the words we then practise at home. Mrs Edwards is looking to see if we can then use them correctly in our work in class. 

Reading - we are expected to read a little every night. 

Topic grid - Our other homework is to choose an activity from the topic grid (which you can see below). We have two weeks for each project. The information about how to complete these is below as well.
