PE: PE this year will be on a Tuesday and Wednesday. You should have your PE kit at school on these days  - shorts / tracksuit bottoms, school PE t-shirt and trainers. Please make sure that every item of your child's kit is clearly named and that it is kept in a named PE bag. 

We will be going outside for The Daily Mile each day, so please make sure that you have your coat at school with you every day - you never know when the rain may fall!

Our Curriculum

Over the course of the year we will be learning about The Ancient Greeks, Space and The Mayans in History and Geography and in Science, cams and levers, Animals and their habitats and Animals including humans as well as developing their ability to carry out and record an investigation using appropriate vocabulary.

We will encourage the children to approach their study of these and other topics from a global perspective and with critical thinking thus developing their skills of questioning and reasoning. 

Welcome back to Term 3! We have another couple of busy terms planned to take us though to the Easter holidays.

Over these two terms we will be studying Earth in Space and we are working hard on our plans for a visit to an Observatory at the end of Term 4. Watch this space!

This term in PE we are focussing on Gymnastics and football and next term will be cricket and tennis. Please make sure your child has their PE kit on Mondays and Tuesdays. Girls with long hair will need to have it tied back for the gymnastics lesson on a Tuesday and earrings should either be removed or covered in tape.
